Information we collect
- Information you give us. If you email us or submit a contact form, we receive your message and any contact details you include.
- Automatically collected data. Like most websites, our servers and analytics tools log your IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, the pages you view, and the date and time of your visit.
- Cookies and similar technologies. We and our service providers use cookies, local storage, and pixels to remember preferences, measure traffic, and attribute advertising clicks and conversions.
How we use information
- To operate, maintain, and improve the site and its content.
- To understand how visitors find and use the site (analytics).
- To measure the performance of advertising campaigns that bring visitors to the site, including attributing clicks and conversions to the correct ad.
- To respond to your questions and requests.

Advertising and measurement
We run advertising campaigns on platforms such as Meta, Google, and native ad networks, and we use click-tracking and conversion-measurement tools to see which ads work. These tools may set cookies or receive limited data (such as a click identifier, page URL, and a coarse location derived from your IP address) so that a conversion can be attributed to the ad you clicked. We do not sell your personal information.
Outbound links to partners
When you click a link to an insurance marketplace or other partner, you leave Savings Radar and are subject to that company's own privacy policy and terms. We do not control, and are not responsible for, how those third parties collect or use your information. We encourage you to read their policies before submitting any details.
Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:
- Service providers that help us run the site (hosting, analytics, ad measurement), bound by their agreements with us.
- Partners you choose to engage with by clicking an outbound link — at which point you interact with them directly.
- Authorities or others where required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
Your choices and rights
- Cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some features may not work as well without them.
- Do Not Track / opt-outs. You can opt out of many advertising cookies through industry tools such as the Digital Advertising Alliance (optout.aboutads.info) and the Network Advertising Initiative (optout.networkadvertising.org).
- Access and deletion. Depending on where you live (for example, under the CCPA/CPRA in California or the GDPR in the EU/UK), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold, or to opt out of certain processing. Email us at hello@savingsradar.org and we will honor applicable requests.
Data retention and security
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described here or as required by law, and we use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's privacy
Savings Radar is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be reflected here.
